Bhavna’s Kitchen is all about vegetarian recipes from around the world with a hint of Indian flavour. The recipes are simple yet inviting and creative.

Bhavna was born in India and moved to Canada after she got married at 21. She then moved to the USA in 2006 and started Bhavnas Kitchen in 2009. She is the mother of two lively boys.

Bhavna loves to cook Chinese, Italian, Mexican, American and of course Indian. She is a great believer in a vegetarian diet and thinks it’s a good idea for everyone to eat a few meatless meals each week. Fitness is also a big part of her life and she practices yoga everyday and takes a walk as well.

Manjula’s Kitchen was started by Manjula Jain in 2006. Manjula was born in North India into a vegetarian family. Her mother was a great cook and Manjula would help her in the kitchen from a young age. She was taught the importance of fresh ingredients and the sparing use of spices and herbs so as not to overwhelm the natural taste of the food. Manjula now passes on these lessons to her YouTube audience through her authentic Indian vegetarian recipes that are both easy and practical.

Manjula moved to the United States in the late 1960’s. She started her YouTube journey as a hobby with the help and support of her husband, Alex, who takes care of filming and editing the videos.

Her main goal is to help the younger generation learn to cook Indian food. For this reason she strives to make her well tested recipes easy to follow. She is constantly inspired by the positive response she receives from young viewers who say they feel like they are learning to cook from their own mothers when they watch her videos.

In her own words, “Half the fun of cooking is experimenting, so give it a try and make these vegetarian dishes uniquely your own!”
