About Akis Kitchen with Akis Petretzikis
Akis Petretzikis is a very accomplished chef with a long career in the food industry. Originally from Greece he spent time in England early in his career where he gained much knowledge and skills. On his return to Greece in 2010 he made a bold move and entered Greek Master Chef which he won. Following on from this great achievement he held the prestigious position of Head Chef at Michel Roux’s restaurant called Avenue Bistro at the Metropolitan Hotel.
He went on to show off his talents in the kitchen through numerous mediums including TV cooking shows and magazines. He has also published three cookbooks (in Greek) and is a member of the core group of chefs on Jamie Oliver’s Food Tube.
